Bill Fischer joins CII as a Business Development Manager primarily for the Gulf Coast region with a focus on O&G, Power & Automation, IEC Control Gear and Safety. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Methodist University in NC and attended the MSOE (Milwaukee School of Engineering) in WI. He has worked with companies in Electro-Centers, MV-LV Swgr & MCC's, Specialty Panels, MV & LV Breakers, Contactors, Starters, etc., and AC & DC motors for the past 35 years. Bill brings experience in Sales & Marketing, Business, Engineering and Manufacturing where he held leadership positions. He is also credited with process improvements through CFM, JIT and Six Sigma in positions previously held. Freudenberg Nonwoven, a leading international manufacturer of nonwoven fabrics, has awarded Control Infotech a project to develop a WinCC SCADA system for their main fabric production line. It will replace their current SCADA system that has been obsoleted. Control Infotech, a Siemens Automation Solution Partner for WinCC, will engineer the new client/server SCADA system, configure monitoring screens, and establish Ethernet communications to the multiple PLCs that control the process. Data from the PLCs will be input to the WinCC SCADA application for both monitoring and control.

A leading multi-national electrical equipment OEM chose Control Infotech to perform engineering design, development and services for a Distribution, Control, Automation and Monitoring (DCAM) system for Sound Transit in the Seattle area. The scope of Control Infotech's work includes conceptual design, system architechture, function specification, software design, project management, project documentation, on-site FAT/SAT testing, on-site commissioning and operator training.

A leading electrical house builder and switchgear OEM chose Control Infotech to supply PLC and IRP panels for a project for Freeport McMoRan Copper and Gold of Phoenix, AZ at their Morenci Mill in Southeastern Arizona. Control Infotech will do the layout design, and assemble and internally wire the panels.

Clayton Jackson joins Control Infotech from the Siemens Smart Grid division. In his 9 years with the Energy Automation business unit, Clayton held various roles including: Product Marketing of substation automation solutions, managing the proposal group in support of substation based automation products and systems, project and engineering management responsibility for the Siemens RTU products, and management of the Energy Automation production operations at the Wendell, NC facility. At Control Infotech, Clayton will be responsible for project management, oversight of our production subcontractor, and supporting Sales and Marketing with their growth initiatives into SCADA and Substation Automation markets. A second leading electrical house builder chose Control Infotech to supply 8 substation panels (Remote Control, SCADA, Control System Interface) for a refinery in Texas. Control Infotech will do the layout design, and assemble and internally wire the panels.

A leading electrical house builder chose Control Infotech to supply a total of 20 electrical panels icluding 5 Mimic panels, 3 SCADA panels and 12 Interposing Relay Panels. The end user of these panels in an oil refinery in Texas. Control Infotech will do the layout design, and assemble and internally wire the 20 panels.

Siemens Industry, Inc. recently chose Control Infotech, Inc. to design and implement a plant-wide power monitoring system for their project at an Ohio steel mill. The system gathers data from Schweitzer protective relays and ION meters located it electrical rooms throughout the facility, integrating this information into a PLC-based data concentrator via Modbus TCP/IP. It displays and reports the data utilizing a Wonderware Archestra server / multi-client system.

Siemens Energy, Inc. chose Control Infotech, Inc. as the DCS system supplier for two 100 megawatt gas turbine power plants for their customer. Control Infotech's scope includes: coordination of 8 turbine generators per plant, plant-wide DCS integration, plant-wide switchgear automation & control, plant-wide power monitoring, plant-wide SCADA, 61850 networking to protection relays and Modbus TCP/IP networking for the balance of the plant.
