Movement of bulk solids through a series of motorized conveyors calls for applications such as Automatic sequential Start and Stop, material routing, in-situ analysis of critical physical parameters for quality control, weighing, filling, packing, waste and dust collection and above all safety interlocks for avoiding harm to life and property. Such plants employ a number of motors in the plant of varying rating which have to be controlled for their start/stop, speed and direction. We provide complete turnkey solutions for such applications including the iMCC’s (Intelligent Motor Control Centers) and PLC Systems to operate the complete plant automatically. Typical applications are Ash and coal handling in Power/Steel plants, Cement, Food, tobacco and grain handling at the ports. Pneumatic conveying of bulk solids is a special case of material handling.
